    With the introduction of FreezeKit Cleave™ and ThawKit Cleave™ we can now offer a completely new procedure for slow freezing based on today’s knowledge of cell physiology and cryopreservation. For many years slow freezing was the only cryopreservation method used for human oocytes and embryos at different developmental stages. Commercially available products for slow freezing before the launch of FreezeKit Cleave and ThawKit Cleave were based on variants of the protocol developed by Lasalle and Testart in the 1980s1.

  • Simplify handling and ensure optimal heat transfer

    Each well in the 5-well dish is surrounded by either air or medium and the dish bottom is flat, resulting in a homogenous temperature in each well. The wells have ramps for easy visualisation of the embryos. To secure patient identification, all square dishes in Vitrolife Labware have a dedicated area for labels or barcodes for convenient and safe ID-management. The label area is separate from the handling area.

  • Maintain pH outside the incubator with G-MOPS™

    As this procedure is time consuming and performed outside of the incubator, it is of utmost importance to keep pH stable. G-MOPS™ is a mops-buffered handling medium especially designed to keep pH stable outside the incubator.
