By using a standard sized body, we maintain a similar rigidity and flow to keep accurate guidance and maximise the number of oocytes collected per follicle aspiration. By reducing the needle tip, we can benefit from the advantages of a small sized needle; less pain, less tissue damage and less trauma. As medical studies show, decreasing the size of the needle used for oocyte collection in fact reduces pain without affecting the number of oocytes collected, their quality or the clinical pregnancy rate1
Swemed™ Sense™ also has the advantages of all other Swemed™ Follicle Aspiration Sets such as our ultra sharp tip with backpoint grinding, precision handle and our tubing made of Teflon. Furthermore, extensive washing and surface treatment, microscopic inspection by hand and a double sterile barrier packaging provide you with an extensive set of features.
