User-friendly media

G-MOPS PLUS and G-MOPS are handling media that allows performance of  procedures outside the CO2 incubator, such as ICSI, without worrying about a change in pH also in the most time consuming cases. The media contains amino acids and antibiotics and has the same osmolality and pH as Vitrolife culture media.

Gx-MOPS PLUS has a unique triple antioxidant protection to improve embryo viablity. Acetyl-L-Carnitine, Alpha-Lipoic Acidand N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine are working together to protect the embryo from oxidative stress.

Gx-MOPS PLUS with triple antioxidant protection

Reactive oxygen species are ubiquitous throughout any given IVF cycle. And they pose a significant threat to your embryo culture. To keep your embryos out of harm’s way, we have developed a unique triple antioxidant protection for improved embryo viability. The three antioxidants have been added to our gamete-handling media, Gx-MOPS PLUS, to form a protective barrier against oxidative stress.

pH consistent

G-MOPS PLUS is also supplemented with human serum albumin and maintains correct pH when working outside the incubator and does not need incubation, only warming.

G-MOPS must be supplemented with HSA-solution™

Amino acids protect the embryo

Amino acids have a protective role that helps the embryo to maintain homeostasis. This is of particular importance during early stages of development, before the formation of the transporting epithelium. Media with amino acids contribute to minimising intracellular stress. By having amino acid in the media the gametes and embryos are better protected against variations in the environment.
