Description G-IVF PLUS is a fertilisation medium containing all components necessary to support oocyte and sperm function during fertilisation. G-IVF has a unique combination of triple antioxidant protection for improved embryo viability.
Purpose Medium for preparation and handling of gametes and for in vitro fertilisation.
Storage Store dark at +2 to +8ºC.

Optimised for fertilisation
G-IVF™ PLUS is optimised for fertilisation and to maintain gamete functionality and contains human serum albumin. It contains glucose and fructose to support both cumulus cells and sperm functionality. The same medium can be used for all sperm preparation procedures including dilution of gradient solutions, washing, sperm counts and final dilution of the sperm fraction for fertilisation.
Gx-IVF™ has a unique triple antioxidant protection to improve embryo viablity. Acetyl-L-Carnitine, Alpha-Lipoic Acidand N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine are working together to protect the embryo from oxidative stress.

G-Series culture media improve blastocyst development
Data from two studies presented at Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Clinical Embryologist show that good quality embryo rate and blastocyst development can be improved when using G-Series culture media (G-IVF, G-1 and G-2) from Vitrolife compared to a HTF-based non-hyaluronan containing media.
